Part of indie powerhouse label DFA, electro-pop band The Juan Maclean is back with a new album, appropriately titled “The Future Will Come.” The group’s dance-tinged sound has been updated with more experimental mixing, and traces of new wave, jazz and even a bit of punk. Their lead single “One Day” features LCD Soundsystem vocalist Nancy Whang and plays like a fantastical mix of late-80s Human League and breezy summer Euro pop; in other words, the perfect summer party-starter. Don’t believe us? Check out the Patrick Longstreth-directed video for “One Day” below and just try not to bop your heads. Then, go and buy tracks from the album and find out more about the band on their website.
