Sure, Robbie Williams may be more than a little unpredictable these days, but since when has that been a bad thing? We’ve always had a fondness for Williams, ever since he Rock DJ-ed his way into our shiny black Sony discman in high school. Now, more than three years after his last release, “Rudebox,” Williams is back with a catchy new single and ambitious new album, that finds him paired with producers like Guy Chambers and Mark Ronson in a return to his anthemic pop-rock sound. The album is cheekily titled “Reality Killed the Video Star” and the clip for the single, “You Know Me” features Williams hopping around a house dressed in a bunny suit. Fortunately for everyone involved, the song stands alone as another pop gem, from a singer whose famous melodies have only been matched by his infamous career.
