Dolce & Gabbana have launched an official YouTube channel to generate some buzz for their upcoming fall/winter 2010 menswear collection. Though the actual catwalk show doesn’t take place until January 16th at Milan’s Metropol theatre, fans eager for a sneek peak at the collection can check out two behind-the-scenes videos of the designers preparing the new pieces.

2010 marks the 20th anniversary of the Dolce & Gabbana menswear line, and co-founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have said they wanted the YouTube channel to bring in a whole new audience, who may not otherwise have a chance to see the clothes. The videos are exquisitely shot in black and white, showing everything from the initial sketches to the busy style team as they run around the studio. The videos also managed to show just enough of the clothes (a slender lapel here, the upturned-collar of a black trench there) to leave you wanting more. By the time the camera zooms in on the classic Dolce & Gabbana label being stitched into a crisp white shirt, you’re hooked, and more than aware that this is something special.
