This can’t be for real right? It’s called the “Hotelicopter” and it’s billed as the world’s first “hotel in the sky.” Eighteen rooms aboard a 137-feet copter, modeled after a Soviet prototype called the “Mil V-12.” Each room is large enough to hold a queen size bed and whirlpol bath, and guests can also enjoy an on-board spa, steam room and arcade.
The copter travels at a top speed of more than 150 miles an hour, with a thrust range of 75,000 pounds. The inaugural flight is set to take place this June, with tours continuing through the fall. Rates have not yet been disclosed, though it’s safe to assume prices for this luxury trip will be just like the accommodations: sky-high. Check out more pics below and find out more about the “Hotelicopter” on its official website.
