Sonia Rykiel for H&M

September 28th, 2009

There’s another big collaboration being buzzed about today. French designer Sonia Rykiel is set to design two new lines for H&M. The first, a line of lingerie, launches December 5th. The second collection — a line of knits and basics for women and girls (ages 2 to 8 years old) — will hit stores in February. Expect plenty of colorful dresses, cozy sweaters and knit tanks, along with some playful accessories. As for the lingerie: H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch says the collection is “all about revelling in great lingerie for its own sake. This is a totally modern, new kind of lingerie look, and when we started to work together with Rykiel on it, we just couldn’t stop.” We can’t wait to see the finished product.
