Fashion Week may be over but our fashion coverage continues here on corduroymag.com. We’ve spent the past few months asking some of our favorite designers to give us their list of “things that never go out of style.” From a classic album to a go-to piece in their closet (a corduroy jacket maybe?), it’s a chance to find out what they cherish most and a chance to get to know them better.

New York-based menswear designer Hyden Yoo has become a good friend of ours over the past few months and he always knows about the latest party or clothing collaboration or new store opening in town. Still, for as much as he keeps up-to-date with all things “current,” he’s also got a particular fondness for some timeless pieces — and people. We stopped by Yoo’s Bleecker Street studio a few weeks ago to photograph him and got a chance to chat about some of his favorite things. Here’s Hyden Yoo’s “top ten” list of “things that never go out of style” (And for more information about his new collection, check out www.hydenyoo.com)

1. Rolex watches

2. V-neck tees

3. Burger and fries

4. Comfortable jeans

5. Opening doors for someone

6. Paying on a date

7. Kate Moss

8. Riding a bike

9. Anything by Ralph Lauren

10. Being yourself
