Behind the Scenes: Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 Campaign

July 5th, 2010

Marc Jacobs has been doing a lot of things right recently over at Louis Vuitton. We adored his casting of Victoria’s Secret supes Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima, as well as veterans Laetitia Casta and Elle Macpherson for LV’s recent show in Paris (how completely nostalgic and “right now” at the same time!). And this month, the company unveils their new ad campaign for Fall 2010, featuring models Christy Turlington, Karen Elson and Natalia Vodianova. The goal of the campaign, according to Jacobs, is to represent the diversity of the luxury brand, as interpreted by three women of different ages, looks and styles. Jacobs himself appears in this YouTube teaser (released today), giving us a behind-the-scenes look at the new campaign, and talking about how the garments, the models and the photographs all came together.
