NOOKA Pop-Up Shop
New York-based watch company Nooka sets up shop this month at Den — the Odin “store within a store” in the East Village. The pop-up shop is highlighted by an installation titled “Time. Scent. Space,” which features Nooka’s line of colorful watches and accessories set against a sleek, futuristic backdrop of painted black and silver-striped walls and crystal chandeliers.
Though Nooka is best known for its bold and geometric watches, the pop-up shop will also feature an exclusive sneaker collaboration with Heyday. The “Super Deb High sneaker” are a futuristic take on the classic basketball shoe, with patent leather upper and Nooka’s trademark “string theory triangle” pattern (also seen on many of their watches) along the side. The shoe is shown above in white, but only the black pair will be released in conjunction with this month’s shopping event. The white version is due out later this year. Other items for sale include wallets, belts and even a signature perfume, developed by renowned perfumer Pierre-Constantin Guéros, with notes of Japanese yuzu, pink pepper, and leather. The Nooka pop-up shop opens today and runs until August 8th at Den, 330 East 11th Street in New York.
