Wow. Though Chanel’s new Sports Collection should come as no suprise–since most high end fashion houses have taken to releasing a smattering of unorthodox products as of late–the image of the iconic inverted C’s on a dumbbell is shocking no matter how you spin it. And it doesn’t end there. Chanel’s foray into sports merchandise will see them release among other things, a boomerang, inline skates, guitars, footballs, basketballs, and perhaps the nicest set of golf clubs we ever did see. Though the items themselves are destined to be covered in blood, sweat and tears, Chanel’s simple, elegant design is by no means lacking. (They’re also doing musical instruments too). Consider us impressed.
