Weekend Listening – Passion Pit

And now for something slightly different from Passion Pit. The song is “Constant Conversations” and it’s the latest single (and third release) off the band’s new album “Gossamer.” Known for their bombastic, dancey, synth-pop, the band switches gears to a sweet, almost R&B-type crooning for the song (complete with background “oohs and ahhs”), marking a – so far – well-received departure for Passion Pit and providing a compelling argument to pick up their new disc when it drops next week.
