California sports company K-Swiss somehow manages to always re-invent itself just in time to capture the latest trends and styles. This summer, they’re unveiling a modern take on an old-school classic: the Vintage California sneaker. These sneakers were first launched in 1966 by the California-based company, and soon became the prototype that was responsible for K-Swiss’ famed all-leather tennis shoe (The “Classic”). Now, after playing with various canvas and textile materials, the company is re-launching the Vintage California for the first time in 20 years. We love the hi-top version of the sneaker, which makes us think of summer days on the basketball court or weekend road trips to the cottage and beach. The shoes are available in tan, green and blue, in addition to the colors show above. They are available now in select stores and online at www.kswiss.com.
