Brooklyn gets animated this weekend (sorry, bad pun) with the 2009 Animation Block Party. The three-day festival showcases some of the world’s best independent, professional and student-animated short films in a variety of genres. This year’s festival will feature more than 80 films, including premieres from top animators, new student works and the best professional and indie shorts from the past year. The event kicks off tonight with a screening and live music by Teengirl Fantasy at Automotive High School in Williamsburg. Your ticket will also get you into the after-party (with open bar!) following the film.
Screenings take place all weekend at the Automotive High School and at BAM. Details and ticket information HERE.
